Politically Correct Christmas
This just blows my mind.
Let's just forget that a tree has NOTHING to do with religion. It had alot to do, of course, with old pagan rituals.
I think we should do either one of two things:
1) Ban all religious symbols from public display. Put the proper hats back on sikh RCMP members, take the kirpans away from school children and take prayer out of schools. We should bleep out use of any words associated with a particular faith when spoken on television. Ban the Naval prayer and change the words to O Canada to reflect our happy new "non-denominational" country. Make religion associated holidays working days, and make Canada day a celebration of how fucking inclusive we are by standing around in a big circle singing "non-denominational" songs - we can probably start with Cumbaya.... oh wait. Once we have completed that we must spend federal dollars (and lots too) to expunge our history books of any and all references to any religion - a book burning may be in order. Next, we must also ban and burn all religious-themed movies, television shows and record albums. Once that is done we must, of course, ban access to internet sites containing the word "religion" and stop showing anything on our new state run TV station that doesn't talk about our "inclusiveness". Then, all the CANADIANS can be psychologically analyzed and our memories altered using interesting "techniques". PERFECT!
2) Stop this willy-nilly "don't offend anyone with our culture" bullshit and tell people that are here or plan on coming:
WELCOME TO CANADA - DON'T EVEN THINK OF FUCKING WITH OUR SHIT. THE 25TH IS A HOLIDAY - WE CALL IT CHRISTMAS AND WE PUT UP TREES, GIVE PEOPLE PRESENTS AND SHOP OUR ASSES OFF. WE SING OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM PROUDLY AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT OR LEARN IT....
We will happily provide you with the only government handout you will ever need:
A PLANE TICKET HOME
